10 Prove to the reader that you are clear about the purpose of individualized planning for children with disabilities under the IDEA and provide three to four principles that underlie individualized programming.
8 Prove to the reader that you understand the reason for individualized planning for children with disabilities under the IDEA and provide two to three principles that underlie individualized programming.
6 Describe individualized planning in general and refer to one or two principles that support the process.
4 Describe planning in general and how this is carried out with children.
2 Provide little evidence of clear understanding of individualized planning or the purpose of it.
