Select less-fattening foods, interact differently with children, encourage children to increase their activity level, find ways to reward children other than with food.

Nature refers to a variety of characteristics such as eye color and body type, which are inherited from parents. Nurture refers to all the experiences and influences one is exposed to from the moment of conception throughout a lifetime.
