ANSWER: The more mild and moderate disabilities are not easily diagnosed and may not be as well accepted by the other children. Children with disabilities are more easily socially accepted if they have good social skills (Kostelnik, et al., 2012). Some typical children may demonstrate prejudice they have learned. Teacher must support the children with disabilities and model accepting behavior for other children.

Answer to Question 2

ANSWER: Resiliency is the essential ability to bounce back from difficult circumstances. Three of the following characteristics should be included: Focusing on strengthening assets rather than fixing deficits Developing clear and realistic goals Solving problems Relating comfortably with others Treating oneself and others with respect.
