Answer to Question 1

Any amount of water presents a drowning hazard for young children and must, therefore, be supervised at all times. At least one adult on site should be CPR certified. Water can also harbor and contribute to the spread of some communicable illnesses, such as giardiasis and cryptosporidiosis (if water is swallowed); wading pools must always be monitored/supervised continuously, disinfected daily, and emptied when children are finished playing.

Answer to Question 2

FALSE
