Answer to Question 1

If foods are introduced in a child's diet too early it can make the baby vulnerable to food intolerance or food allergies. In addition, food cannot be digested in the gastrointestinal tract for at least the first three months.

Answer to Question 2

When holding the baby, he should not be flat on his back, but should be in a semi-reclining position. When feeding begins, make sure that the nipple is full of formula rather than full of air. Always burp a baby between one-third and one-half of the way through the feeding and then after the feeding is finished. After bottle feeding a baby a few times, the teacher should know the baby's burping pattern.. Try to always hold a baby when feeding him. Never prop a baby's bottle and avoid giving him a bottle in the crib or on the floor where he would be lying flat.
