Sensory experiences can be adapted to meet the needs of children of different ages and those with sensory integration dysfunction (SID) by:
 
  a. keeping the activity the same but adding more materials.
  b. keeping the activity very simple, but talking about it more with older children.
  c. making the activity less open-ended for the younger children and those with SID.
  d. varying the amount of adultchild interaction and the number of children involved in the activity.
