Dickinson thinks that his product is underpriced because he sees more value in the product than is reflected in the price. He and other industry executives are convinced that the industry still needs more consumers to try the cruise line product and raising prices might turn them away.

Nature-based tourism is tourism to unspoiled places to experience and enjoy nature. Ecotourism is popularly defined as responsible travel to natural areas that conserves the environment and improves the well being of local people or ecologically sustainable tourism that fosters environmental and cultural understanding, appreciation, and conservation. In general, nature-based tourism is considered a broader definition encompassing many types of tourism.
