Answer 1

As reviewed, demographics will continue to dominate media and other choices because of the common availability of information collected by the U.S. Census Bureau and media companies. Demographic categories are especially useful in choosing the best media to reach selected targets, such as those with adequate income to afford high-end travel (cruise lines, luxury hotels, spas), families (theme parks and other family venues), mature travelers (tour operators), single travelers (places that have lots of night life and action), etc. Lifestyle dimensions, most often derived from combinations of demographic categories (such as young, single, professional men and women with above average incomes) are more difficult to assemble but worthwhile when possible since it helps to make marketing choices more effective. Psychographics may require more research to grasp the motivations, needs, and wants of the

target audience, but it can be the most fruitful in what it offers. It is especially useful in designing new advertising campaigns since the true motivations of the intended audience are understood.

Answer 2

This requires individual responses. Students will have to assess the number and types of attractions in their home state relative to those in other states.

Every flu season is different, and even healthy people can get extremely sick from the flu, as well as spread it to others. The flu season can begin as early as October and last as late as May. Every person over six months of age should get an annual flu vaccine. The vaccine cannot cause you to get influenza, but in some seasons, may not be completely able to prevent you from acquiring influenza due to changes in causative viruses. The viruses in the flu shot are killed—there is no way they can give you the flu. Minor side effects include soreness, redness, or swelling where the shot was given. It is possible to develop a slight fever, and body aches, but these are simply signs that the body is responding to the vaccine and making itself ready to fight off the influenza virus should you come in contact with it.
