Answer 1

Contrary to all forecasts from 40 to 50 years ago, television and other mass communication devices have not narrowed the interest patterns and behaviors of people. Rather, individual lifestyles, entertainment choices, purchase preferences, free time choices, and personal pursuits have all expanded dramatically and become more varied. As stated, demographics no longer predict behavior of any kind as well as in the past. Now, rather than a handful of major networks dominating all viewing habits, cable television offers hundreds of choices. The big three car manufacturers have been swamped by the offerings of multiple import companies.

The Internet has spawned millions of blogs and countless numbers of sites to search for almost anything conceivable. Travel choices have also expanded beyond the more limited traditional offerings of a couple of decades ago. Over 2,500 specialty tour operators exist in the United States alone, more destinations now welcome visitors worldwide, and there are more transportation choices to get to where a traveler might want to go. The expansion of choices will continue.

Answer 2

Airplanes, automobiles, and motorcoaches.
