Write a short article designed for parents of children who have been diagnosed with Oppositional Defiant Disorder. Describe how they can provide an environment in which the potentially negative consequences of ODD are minimized.

 Definition  sustained pattern of anger, irritability, and defiant or vindictive behavior
 Caused by multiple factors including genetics, temperament and personality, environment, etc.
 Important to learn more about ODD, learn new parenting techniques, get support from community agencies, advocate for educational support, monitor child's activities and friends, etc.
