Even though a high percentage of mothers in developing countries could safely breast feed, why is there such a low rate of breast feeding in these areas?
◦ They have no training on how to breast feed.
◦ Corporations have unethically convinced mothers that formula is better.
◦ Religious practices discourage women from breast feeding.
◦ Poor women in these areas are malnourished and are not capable of breast feeding.
