Paul gifted his girlfriend, Laura, with a pair of lovebirds. Laura took good care of them by giving them high-quality cereal grass seeds, which the birds consumed in no time. But then she noticed that even though they ate well and were growing in size, they seemed to be weak and lethargic. When the couple visited an avian vet, they were told that a diet of cereal grass seeds is not good for the birds. Why did the doctor say this, and how is it related to the condition of the birds?
