NPK fertilizer is administered in various concentrations to 4 sets of plants to test their growth and yield response. Set 1 plants show severely reduced yield; Set 2 plants show slight increase in yield and growth; Set 3 plants do not show a difference in yield, but show increased ppm deposition of phosphorous in plant tissues; Set 4 plants show reduced ppm deposition of iron and zinc in plant tissues with reduced yield.
