Sleep difficulties include problems falling asleep, problems staying asleep, waking up too early in the morning, and feeling fatigue upon awakening (non-restorative sleep). Insomnia can result in problems such as daytime sleepiness, impaired work or school performance, and cognitive impairments such as difficulties with attention, concentration, and memory.
