Answer to Question 1

FALSE

Answer to Question 2

Illness Anxiety Disorder is characterized by fears or concerns about a medical illness despite medical reassurances. People with this disorder do not necessarily suffer physical symptoms; rather, they have a dysfunctional mind-set that causes them to worry about health, illness, and physical symptoms. They spend time visiting physicians, checking medical sources, talking to friends and family members about their problem, and monitoring their own physical status. They avoid situations associated with their fear in a way similar to behaviors associated with phobias.
