You have been called by law enforcement to take a patient to the hospital against his will. How might you best instruct the patient to sit on your gurney?
◦ The police have told me that you need to go to the hospital and that you do not want to go. We will take good care of you. Will you please sit on my gurney?
◦ You have no choice; you are going to the hospital. Sit on my gurney.
◦ All I know is that you need to go to the hospital. Please sit on my gurney.
◦ If you don't sit down now I will need to use restraints. Understand?
