You are treating a patient who had two fingers amputated while working on a lawn mower. You have located the fingers; now, how would you treat them?
◦ Rinse away debris with saline solution and place in a container of ice.
◦ Bandage them in the normal position where they were severed from the patient's hand.
◦ Wrap the part in aluminum foil to preserve body temperature.
◦ Cover with dressing moistened with sterile saline.
