Answer to Question 1

Answer to Question 2

Social behavior refers to how people act in social situations. Social thoughts refer to how people attempt to make sense of the world and to understand themselves and others. Social behavior and social thought are intimately and continuously linked: we cannot understand a person's behavior without taking into account his or her thoughts, memory, intentions, emotions, attitudes, and beliefs. In the past, there were two distinct groups of social psychologists, those who studied behavior and those who studied thought. Now, however, social psychologists take both into account.
