AIDA comprises the four basic steps of the persuasive process, including gaining attention, generating interest, creating desire, and motivating action. The components are based on the AIDA model:

a) Attention: Get the receiver's attention.
b) Interest: Introduce the product, service, or idea, and arouse interest in it.
c) Desire: Create a desire by presenting convincing evidence of the value of the product, service, or idea.
d) Action: Encourage action.
