Firms that choose to focus on global as well as local markets have to make decisions regarding centralization or decentralization with respect to the budgeting process, spending/allocation, marketing mix and marketing message. Changes in the organizational structure are also possible.

Accounting procedures should be developed to reflect worldwide performance and value. CSR activities will have to be viewed from a global perspective and stakeholders play a major role in developing the global image of the company.The firm's actions resound globally.
