Answer to Question 1

C
Probiotic acidophilus supplements have been shown to reduce the incidence of diarrhea and re-duce the risk of C. difficile infections.
Antibiotics have been shown to promote infection by the highly contagious C. difficile, which has a high mortality rate in older adults.
Ibuprofen appears to promote C. difficile infection.
Iron supplements are not indicated in the treatment of C. difficile or diarrhea. Iron supplements can cause discoloration of the stool (black) and lead to constipation.

Answer to Question 2

B
Intradermal injections are typically given for allergy testing or tuberculin screening.
Immunization medications are not administered intradermally.
