Answer to Question 1

Some operators allow students to request, in advance, a to-go meal from a list of specified options, using a meal plan credit. Typically, such requests can only be submitted online and in specified time windows to prevent abuse of the privilege. This accommodates students who, for various reasons, can not take advantage of a dining hall credit, but who need a meal for an off-campus event, because they are too ill to go to a dining hall, etc. Such policies typically do not permit credits to be used retroactively, after the meal period is over.)
