It helps a CVB gain insight into a destination's visitor market. The results of research guide the CVB's decision-making process. It helps in creating effective marketing plans, setting organizational goals, and determining the CVB's contribution to the local economy in terms of visitor spending, tax revenue, and jobs supported.
