Industry officials classify POP materials into four categories:
1 . Permanent displays. These are displays intended for use for six months or more.
2 . Semipermanent displays. These have an intended lifespan of less than six months but more than two months.
3 . Temporary displays. These are designed for fewer than two months' usage.
4 . In-store media. In-store media include advertising and promotion materials, such as in-store radio and TV advertising, shopping cart advertisements, shelf talkers, floor graphics, coupon dispensers, and other in-store materials.
