Answer to Question 1

To manage their guest feedback programs well, managers first review the programs to help ensure each of the steps required in their development has been completed. They then train their staff so all employees understand their role in the guest feedback collection process. Next, program materials are distributed to the employees for presentation to guests, or the materials are given directly to guests. Direct distribution to guests may include placement on tables, presentation with guest checks, placement at exit points in the operation, or the online posting of materials. Managers then collect and analyze the guest-supplied feedback on a regularly scheduled basis.
