Answer to Question 1

Answer: The principle states that people tend to become friends with those who live or work near us. The mere exposure effect is the tendency to feel more positively toward people, places, or things we have seen frequently. They are related in that we tend to become friends with people with whom we are in proximity, in part because we have greater exposure to them and thus tend to like them more.
