It is not advisable for you to make personal interpretations of your organization's customerservice policies and procedures. You cannot make policy by yourself or make arbitrary
changes that do not conform to the spirit of your organization's policy. Be especially careful in
situations with legal repercussions.

Do not assume that your organization's customer-service procedures are infallible. Also, do
not assume that the organization's recommended procedures anticipate every situation.
