A client asks the nurse to why the client's skin and eyes have turned yellow. The nurse should explain that:
 
  1. the client has too many bruises.
  2. the client has eaten too many foods containing yellow food dye.
  3. the client might be experiencing liver disease.
  4. yellow skin is considered normal.
