Genotyping classifies an organism according to changes found at the level of the DNA.

Answer to Question 2

Drugs that can actually change the course of a disease, making the disease less severe or progress more slowly, are called disease-modifying. DMARDs slow the progression of rheumatoid arthritis. An NSAID does not change the underlying mechanism of rheumatoid arthritis or change the course of the disease; NSAIDs only relieve some of the symptomatology.
