mononeuropathy: nerve disorder involving a single nerve or nerve group
polyneuropathy: nerve disorder involving multiple nerves or nerve groups
autonomic neuropathy: a nerve disorder affecting an autonomic nerve or group of nerves (ie, those nerves that control the involuntary processes within the cardiovascular system, gastrointestinal tract, and bladder)
Gastroparesis is a neuropathy that causes partial paralysis of the stomach. The stomach fails to empty normally, causing indigestion, nausea, and vomiting. Severe cases may lead to malnutrition.
