Answer to Question 1

D
Response:
Terbutaline is a tocolytic agent used to halt preterm labor. It would not be used to treat postpartum hemorrhage. Oxytocin, methylergonovine, and carboprost are drugs used to manage postpartum hemorrhage.

Answer to Question 2

D
Response:
The child should keep a record of daily readings, being sure to measure peak flow at the same time each day. The child should stand up straight, take a deep breath, close the lips tightly around the mouthpiece, and blow out hard and fast. The child should do the procedure three times and record the highest reading.

Your skin wrinkles if you stay in the bathtub a long time because the outermost layer of skin (which consists of dead keratin) swells when it absorbs water. It is tightly attached to the skin below it, so it compensates for the increased area by wrinkling. This happens to the hands and feet because they have the thickest layer of dead keratin cells.
