Answer to Question 1

There are substantial advantages to using a standardized strategy worldwide. Costs will be reduced considerably if there is no need for duplicating the creative effort and the resultant communication campaign in each market. In addition, as product life cycles shrink, companies are pressured to accelerate worldwide rollout of new products. Developing communication strategies for each market would delay launch. Moreover, world consumers are developing common product preferences and increasingly share similar frames of references with regard to products and consumption, as they are more and more exposed to the same sources of influence.

Answer to Question 2

False
