How is the socialization process different for women than for men?

What is the current global trend in regards to type of government?
 
  a. Countries with the greatest number of poorer people are the most likely to be democratic.
  b. The current trend is toward more authoritarian governments.
  c. The tendency toward democracy is greater the more developed a country is.
  d. The least developed countries tend to be the most democratic.
  e. The United Nations does not have data regarding types of government globally.

Answer to Question 1

Some of the socialization experiences that Shepard points out as being unique to women are the tension between roles as a wife/mother and worker, the void experienced when children leave home and husbands are preoccupied with work, and the double standard in terms of the visible signs of aging.
