One package across many functions
Best practices
Modular structure
No development needed (unless modifications are required)
Configurable
Reduced errors (business rules, enter data once)

The cons should include any four of the following:
Complex and inflexible
Best practices are shared by all who use it
Difficult to configure
Long implementation
Best of breed might be better than single ERP package
Can't meet all needs (developed for many user types)
