Teachers are in a key position to satisfy some of their students' deficiency needs (because they can take steps to make their students feel physically comfortable, safe and relaxed, accepted, and esteemed), but they may not be able to satisfy all of their students' needs.

Growth choices are encouraged by enhancing the attractions and minimizing the dangers of those situations.
