Job enlargement involves increasing the number of tasks a worker performs when all of the tasks are at the same level of responsibility and difficulty. It is also known as horizontal job loading. Job enrichment is the designing of workers' jobs to provide opportunities for the growth by giving them more responsibility and control over their work. Job enrichment is also known as vertical job loading.
