Professional memberships encourage sharing of information among peers. The other options are not the best method for staying current.

Answer to Question 2

ANS: A
The thank-you letter should express special interest in the position as a result of the interview and give a time-frame in which you will call them if you have not heard from them. The other options are not appropriate to include in the thank-you letter.
