(literature circles, guided reading, writing groups, projects). Use all 6 language arts (thematic units, literature focus units). Preteach and reteach (introducing lessons, building background knowledge, introducing vocabulary, reviewing after learning). Incorporate projects (in thematic units, literature focus units and literature circles).
