Read labels on food before purchasing.
Do not add salt during cooking.
Substitute other seasonings for table salt.
Balance meals for sodium content.
Avoid processed and convenience foods.
Be careful in restaurants.

Answer to Question 2

You can obtain all the vitamins and minerals you need through a balanced diet.
The evidence is not compelling for megadoses to prevent disease.
Vitamin C may reduce the length of cold symptoms but doesn't prevent colds.
RDI is the intake for healthy individuals.
Popping a pill is no substitute for eating right.
