1. Inadequate federal oversight of foods produced in the United States and abroad.
2. Contaminated water used on crops.
3. Crops fertilized with animal manure containing dangerous bacteria.
4. Unsanitary practices or poor worker hygiene in harvesting, storing, or transporting food.
5. Contaminated food processing equipment.
6. Storing or transporting foods at improper temperatures.
7. Improper storing, cooking, or preparation at home.
