At the opposite end of the spectrum, less than ten percent of males and females had sex with four or more partners in the past year. Among Americans aged 15 to 44, less than fifteen percent of males and females reported experiencing some form of same-sex sexual behavior.
Marital infidelity is rare: Among married Americans, over ninety percent of males and females had sex with just one partner in the past year.
