Answer to Question 1

Answer: FALSE

Answer to Question 2

Answer: Answers will vary, but should include the following. A significant percentage of Americans, have never had any form of heterosexual contact (that is, contact with a member of the opposite sex). The percentages are much higher for the youngest in this group. And of course, the rates plummet for the oldest in this group. Of those Americans who have ever had sex, more than sixty percent of males and females had just one partner in the past year. At the opposite end of the spectrum, less than ten percent of males and females had sex with four or more partners in the past year. Among Americans aged 15 to 44, less than fifteen percent of males and females reported experiencing some form of same-sex sexual behavior.
Marital infidelity is rare: Among married Americans, over ninety percent of males and females had sex with just one partner in the past year.
