Answer to Question 1

Some animals are owned by multiple people who are classified as co-owners. Some animals, especially horses, may be owned by a syndicate, which is an official association of persons.

Answer to Question 2

When someone calls to arrange an appointment for an animal or simply presents an animal for examination or treatment, ownership is implied, unless information to the contrary is given.
