The American Correctional Association (ACA) also offers certification to health service personnel through its Correctional Certification Program (CCP), but its programs are limited to nurses and individuals who serve in a management capacity. The ACA launched the Healthcare Professional Interest Section, as well as the Correctional Certification Program, in 2007.
