Regarding self-discipline, Freiberg thought:
 
  a. Self-discipline was not a major point in CMCD because the teacher accepted major responsibility.
 
  b. An entire school must develop a continuity of actions and expectations for staff, teachers, and students; and must be committed to giving students consistent messages about self-discipline.
 
  c. Self-discipline was a major goal, but it was accepted that only a small percentage of students could achieve such a lofty goal.
 
  d. Self-discipline was not mentioned in CMCD  it was part of Skinner's Behavior Modification Program.
