Answer to Question 1

A, D, E
The ethics committee can create a supportive infrastructure and can also examine ethical issues, creating guidelines or processes.
Educating employees on ethical issues, including how to recognize and work through them and correlating them to organizational values, would be a strong component of an ethical organizational culture.
All employees need to understand their options when they witness a violation of organizational ethics.
In-house chaplain support for emergencies is a valuable tool, but this would not necessarily help establish and maintain an ethical organizational culture.
Using assertive communication is important when working with others and might demonstrate an organizational value of respect, but it would not in itself ensure a strong ethical organizational culture.

Answer to Question 2

A
Downward communication occurs from those in higher-level positions to those in lower-level positions, often in the form of commands. Horizontal communication often occurs among peers in working groups. Intraprofessional communication would occur between members of different professions. Vertical communication can be part of both formal and informal processes.
