Answer to Question 1

(all steps should be included)
(a) Cover the examination table with a towel to make the surface less slippery.
(b) Place one hand under the abdomen and the let the chinchilla rest in the palm of the hand.
(c) Wrap the index finger of the other hand around the base of the tail.
