Disciplining a ferret when it bites, to condition it to not to do that anymore

Talking to a ferret in a soft and gentle voice before picking it up, to calm it down. Stroke and talk to the
ferret when it is doing something good

Giving the ferret a treat as positive reinforcement when it does something good

If there is a way to escape, a ferret will find it.
Ferrets enjoy watching activity around them.
