(5) The spacing of each section should also be consistent. (6) Use a simple font style to make it easy to read. (7) Use correct grammar and punctuation, and do a spell-check as well as a thorough proofread. (8) Use words and phrases common to the industry, and be sure you use them correctly. (9) Make sure your sentences are short, specific, and truthful. (10) A resume should not exceed one or two 8 1/2 by 11 inch sheet of paper in length.
