Answer to Question 1

ANS: B, C, E
Stop interrupts the negative train of thought. Divert allows focus on something that will rap-idly reduce the stress. Reframe reinforces what you can do to reduce the stressor. The re-maining options do not address any of the identified steps in this stress management method.

Answer to Question 2

ANS: D
One possible cause of depression is thought to involve one or more neurotransmitters. Sero-tonin and norepinephrine have been found to be important in the regulation of depression. There is no research to support that the other options play a significant role in the develop-ment of depression.
